Atragan Vyssorin
Atragan Vyssorin has led an interesting life. He was born when the gods made the elements. From the air they made the angels, and gave them the heavens. The earth was made for humans, and they were given the worldly plain. But from fire came the Djinn, immortal and powerful creatures who were doomed to haunt the void, only able to escape once they were summoned by a human master. When this master summoned them, they were to give that master three wishes, but could trade the souls of countless for individual wishes. Once the one who summoned them made their three wishes, the entirety of the Djinn horde would be released onto the earthen plain. Such was the faith of the gods that they assumed no Djinn could do such a thing.
Atragan was made not during this initial creation, rather he was formed from clay by a cult of Djinn who worshipped the same gods that had abandoned them, asking for forgiveness. And the gods granted them that, in the form of a child that grew rapidly, so not to arouse suspicion. Eventually Crotak, the king of the Djinn found the boy and cast him out the void, as he was part human. Now he resides here on the human plain, still chained to his wish fulfilling purpose, but now he works not to release the Djinn. Once he gives three wishes to a master, he is free, free to explore the world on his own, and hopefully save his parents
